What Document do you need to take with you when you go to vote?

If you are a registered voter in the electoral process, you will need to bring one of the following credentials with you.
  1. Voter Card.
  2. Aadhaar Card.
  3. MNREGA (Job Card).
  4. Pan Card.
  5. Passbook (Passbook approved by the bank or Post Office with your photo).
  6. Health Insurance Smart Card (Approved under the scheme of the Ministry of Labor Welfare).
  7. Driving License.
  8. Passport.
  9. Service Identity Card (Employee Identification Card with photograph approved by the Central Government/ State Government / PSUs / Public Limited Companies).
  10. Smart Card (Approved by NPR under RGI).
  11. Pension Certificate (with photo).
  12. Official Identity Card (Signed by MPs / MLAs / MLCs).

What are the Voting Rules for All absence Special Class Voter?

(This includes people over the age of 80, especially able people, people with Covid-19 infection, or people with symptoms.)
  • To get the postal ballot, one has to apply to the Returning Officer through the 12D form.
  • 12D form should be collected from BLO.
  • Along with the application form, he will have to submit the appropriate certificate for which he belongs to the above category.
  • The last date for submission of the application to the Returning Officer is March 16, 2021.

What are rules have been laid down to protect against COVID-19 in the election process?

  • Your hands should be sanitized and washed.
  • Every Voters will be temperature checked by a thermal scanner.
  • Every Voters will be given a Token, so that it does not stand in line.
